Professional Profile:

Mark has developed his experience, knowledge, and skills to become specialised in the management of Male Pelvic Health conditions. His thorough understanding of pain mechanisms and specialist training has provided him with the tools to treat conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, erectile dysfunction, and incontinence.

Mark holds the position of Team Lead Occupational Health Physiotherapist in Cardiff and Vale UHB providing experience in dealing with work related conditions and writing health evaluation reports. Health promotion on a wider scale forms a part of his role addressing the bigger picture of encouraging patients to engage in health and wellbeing initiatives.

Mark has experience in dealing with a wide range of paediatric and adult conditions. Experience gained working within dynamic A&E and trauma clinics allowed him to develop skills in the diagnostics and treatment of acute injuries. He has vast experience also in the management of chronic conditions.

Through his hobbies and academics he has developed an interest in strength and conditioning providing him with the skills to rehabilitate patients back to their sport or job. Mark also has experience in writing physiotherapy reports for patients who have been involved in road traffic accidents.

Personal Profile:

Mark is a keen sportsman. His main sport is football. He represented South West England at the age of 18 and was a trialist at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Since moving to Wales in 2003 he has played Welsh League Football for a variety of clubs winning the League Cup with Goytre Utd in 2005. He has more recently turned his attention to golf, running and gym based exercise.
